Corrections Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

revviso is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we correct them openly and promptly. This page explains how we handle corrections.

Our commitment

Accuracy is fundamental to the value of our content. Readers rely on our reviews, comparisons, and buying guides to make informed decisions. When we get something wrong — whether it's a specification error, an outdated recommendation, a factual mistake, or a typographical error — we believe the right response is to correct it clearly and without delay.

We do not hide or quietly delete errors. We correct them in place, with a note where appropriate.

Types of corrections

Factual errors

If we have stated a product specification, a price, or a factual claim incorrectly, we correct the text and add a correction notice at the bottom of the article stating what was changed and when.

Outdated information

Products change. Prices drop. Better alternatives emerge. When content becomes materially outdated, we update it and change the "Last updated" date. For significant recommendation changes, we add a note explaining what changed and why.

Typographical and editorial errors

Minor typographical or grammatical errors are corrected silently without a correction notice, as they do not affect the substance of the content.

Significant corrections

If a correction materially changes the nature of a recommendation or involves a significant factual error, we will add a visible correction notice at the top or bottom of the article explaining what was corrected.

How to report an error

If you believe something we have published is incorrect, outdated, or misleading, please let us know. We welcome corrections from readers and take all submissions seriously.

When submitting a correction, please include:

  • The URL of the article containing the error
  • A description of the error and what you believe to be correct
  • A source or evidence for the correction, if available

Submit corrections via our contact form.

Our process

When a correction is submitted:

  1. We acknowledge receipt where possible.
  2. We investigate the claim and verify it against available sources.
  3. If the correction is valid, we update the article and, where appropriate, add a correction notice.
  4. We aim to process corrections within 5 business days. Significant or complex corrections may take longer.

Disputes

If you disagree with an editorial opinion or a product recommendation, that is different from a factual error. Editorial positions represent our honest assessment and are not subject to correction on the basis of disagreement alone. However, we are always open to considering new evidence or arguments that may change our view.
